Seasonal Treatments

While some of our products contain organic material such as microbes and beneficial bacteria, we use a formulated synthetic fertilizer to provide the perfect blend of nutrients that your lawn and plants need.  Typically, organic fertilizers contain animal waste and are not recommended for turfgrass.  

Yes, the products we use are safe for pets and kids.  There may be a short period of time that kids and pets must stay off of the newly treated lawn. Typically after the lawn has dried, and absorbed the products (usually within 24 hours). 

Usually within 24 hours depending on the application.  The product must be dried and absorbed by the lawn to be effective.  The granulated grub prevention application (steps (3-4) should be watered in ASAP.

In Michigan, we have a temperate climate and grasses will typically need about one inch of rainfall per week to stay active and green. In cooler temperatures it may require less, and in the intense summer heat it may require more.

No. The insecticide we use to prevent grubs and other pests does not adversely affect bees or earthworms.  If a situation were to happen where we need to use a Neonicotinoid class (harmful to bees) of insecticide, we would not apply on flowering plants and have the homeowner water in the insecticide after application.  This practice reduces or eliminates the contact with helpful pollinators such as honeybees.

Yes, grub prevention is included in the program.  If there is a problem with grubs later in the year, we will come out and treat at no cost.
